Margaret Holland Inn is accepting limited reservations from visitors who are able to meet travel regulations issued by the Governor’s Office of the State of Vermont. MHI is required to retain your signed form on file for 30 days following your stay.

Reservations cannot be made online at this time.  Please email us at rooms@margarethollandinn.com or telephone 802-485-9202 to complete your reservation. 
Minimum length of stay requirements apply during peak season demands. All rates are subject to Vermont State Rooms Tax @ 9%. We accept Mastercard, Visa, cash and traveler’s checks.

If you need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of a one week notice for a refund of your deposit (less a $35.00 cancellation fee for administrative expenses). Thank you for understanding that we are a small, independent business and cannot absorb short-notice cancellations.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to you while we adhere to Governor Scott’s hospitality/travel sector mandates.

Margaret Holland Inn is a cozy colonial style guesthouse/inn with a relaxed atmosphere. The innkeepers, and the entire MHI team, are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the local area.

This is a parent friendly inn where you will be welcomed back over and over again. All six guest rooms feature comfortable bedding and linens, and seasonal air conditioning. Our central location makes us convenient to many Vermont events. Margaret Holland Inn is located 10 miles south of Montpelier, the capital of Vermont. Short distances to Norwich University, famous covered wooden bridges, Rock of Ages granite quarry, Brookfield’s Floating Bridge, and more. Margaret Holland Inn was established in 1928 and is open throughout the year.
